This position sits in our Zurich-based Digital Marketing business unit. We deliver a large range of services: from strategy and a performance-driven full-funnel approach to campaigning, e-commerce, data & analytics and content. For our Social Advertising team, we are looking for a very experienced Social Advertising Consultant who creates rock-solid social media strategies for our clients and who translates these into result-oriented campaigns.

As a Social Advertising Consultant at DEPT®, you know better than anyone how our customers can achieve their goals with the help of social advertising. You work out a strategy by debriefing the customer’s needs and translating them into a clear approach. In addition to devising the strategy, you are responsible for setting up, optimising and analysing campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn. An important part of this role is communicating with your customers about the objectives and progress of their social advertising campaigns. You do this with the help of reports, after all, data is key.


You work closely with our Social and Programmatic Teams in both the campaign conception and tactical execution
Setup & optimization of Paid Social campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) based on concrete client goals
Management of your own client portfolio
Audience segmentation and potential analysis
Creating presentations, analyses and reports for clients and internal stakeholders
Supporting our Client Service and Strategy team in new business opportunities
Able to share your passion for Social Media in workshops, both internally and with clients. We give you the space to develop yourself at conferences and trainings and are happy if you share your know-how through activities such as blogs, lectures or lectureships.


Are able to translate a customer objective into a clear social advertising strategy
Have experience with tooling like the platform ads managers (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, Snap, Twitter) or like external tooling such as Smartly and Google Analytics
Have at least 3 years of experience in setting up, optimizing and analyzing social advertising campaigns
Have previously worked in a digital environment, experience at a digital marketing agency is an advantage
Feel at home in an international environment;
Can switch from serious to play in the blink of an eye;
Strong analytical, pragmatic and solution-oriented way of thinking
Strong business acumen
Enjoy presenting and have a good feel for the right arguments
Shine with your personal presence, empathy and bring team spirit

Communicate fluently in German and English
Nice to have:

Have completed higher education related to marketing and/or business
Knowledge of Organic Social, Programmatic Advertising, SEO, GA4 and Google Ads
Knowledge of video editing with Meta Ad Manager or TikTok video editor
keyword research and GA4
